On March 25, Xu Lejiang, vice minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and executive vice chairman of the ACFIC, inspected Wanxiang Innovation & Energy-gathering City. Lu Weiding accompanied him on a visit to the 3A cell production line of Phase I of the 80GWh cell project, and reported on the planning and construction of Wanxiang Innovation & Energy-gathering City.

When touring the cell production line, Xu Lejiang inquired in detail about information related to product types, technical routes, equipment, and customers while being briefed about it. Xu Lejiang expressed his high praise for the 80GWh cell project, which the company insists on planning from a high starting point, quality construction, and efficient management in order to build it into a lighthouse project in the industry. He encouragingly said that given the rapid development of the cell industry, the company should have a grasp on technological iterations and keep up the innovation to lead the market. He proposed to speed up energy storage projects for demonstration effects.

In the conference room, Xu Anliang reported on the planning progress of Wanxiang Innovation & Energy-gathering City and the related government-enterprise coordination efforts over the past three years, as well as the progress of such specific projects as the 80GWh cell project, Intelligent Control of Mobility, Wanxiang International Science and Innovation Center, Wanxiang Community, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, Energy Storage Industry Chain Innovation Demonstration Industrial Park, and the "source-grid-load-storage" integrated project.

Xu Lejiang listened attentively to the report, chipped in with his thoughts from time to time and learned about the situation of each project. He highly approved of the overall planning and development ideas of Wanxiang Innovation & Energy-gathering City, and provided guidance on pushing forward its construction. He proposed to keep a steady pace and strictly control market, technical and capital risks in an all-out effort to produce benefits and turn the plan into reality.
